Murder
On 3rd May 1852 in Cardigan Street, Jericho, my great-great-great-grandmother, Charlotte Noon died following injuries sustained in an attack by her husband. She was just 33 years old when her husband Elijah ran her through with a sword. She was buried in St. Sepulchre’s cemetery on the 7th May and though her grave is lost, I wished nevertheless to mark possible locations, using extracts from the news of her murder as it was reported in Jackson’s Oxford Journal.
